Esther 8:14-16

¹⁴ The couriers, riding the royal horses, sped forth in haste at the king’s command. And the edict was also promulgated in the citadel of Susa.

¹⁵ Mordecai departed from the king’s presence vested in royal garments of blue and white, with a large crown of gold and purple robe of fine linen, and the city of Susa held a joyous celebration. ¹⁶ For the Jews it was a time of happiness and joy, exaltation and triumph.
